How to ignore touch events for known types?

Feb 16, 2011 at 1:19 AM

Any tips how to instruct the multi-touch behavior to ignore certain types such as button or sliders?

For example, let's say I developed a custom user control (in Silverlight 4) that contains, amongst other things, a slider control.  After attaching MultiTouchBehavior the user control can be scaled, translated and rotated as expected.  However, how do I disable this behavior when a user is using the slider control in my custom user control?

In some third party libraries there is a concept of "ignored types" in which touch events associated with known types do not contribute to the multi-touch behaviour.
