WPF mulitouch behaviour bouncing edge and touch

Apr 16, 2014 at 9:13 AM

I just seen this project to add Multitouch behavior to any control in WPF, I am using for now Surface SDK 2.0 but this require to use Surface control in my app and for other which are not touchable I need to handle in manually.

Based on this project I have 2 question :

1- I have run the WPF multtouch behavior sample, works great but is there a way to implement inertia and edge boucing, same as ScatterVIewItems in Surface SDk 2.0 ?

2- If I have a control which does not react to touch, can I make it touchable with this behavior or it is just use for manipulating the control ?

Thnaks for reply

Hi wakes,
thanks for your message.

1- There are no plans for the moment to support inertia and edge bouncing in the current Behavior: the implementation is based on the "TranslateZoomRotateBehavior" available in Blend which doesn't provide these functionalities at the moment. I would suggest to continue using the Surface SDK 2.0 for those functionalities;
2- The current Behavior provides manipulation gestures only (translate, zoom, rotate), not simple touch-events support.

Hope this helps,
